Bayern Munich and Senegal forward Sadio Man could miss the FIFA World Cup this summer after being forced off the field in the 15th minute of Bayern’s game against Werder.
Bayern Munich went on to win that game 6-1.
Following the win, Bayern’s coach Julian Nagelsmann said Mane took the injury on an unpleasant spot.
“I can’t say anything for sure, he took a blow to the head of his shin.
“That’s an unpleasant spot, it radiates a bit into the muscles. I think he has to go to the X-ray to see if there is something there, because it is splintering easily. But I hope that nothing is wrong. I can’t say anything for sure yet.”
