It looks like Zodwa Wabantu has decided to return the Lamborghini Aventador she showed off on Monday.
SARS allegedly sent the 35-year-old a text message soon after she shared a video of her new ride – which costs around R8-million – on Instagram.
“Akunyiwe once!” Zodwa wrote.
Former ‘Sushi King’, Kenny Kunene, captured the moment she received the car on video.
“Congratulations,” he can be heard saying in the clip.
But Kenny has since told TimesLive that Zodwa has decided to put the purchase on hold after receiving the message from SARS.
“She is now deciding not to take the car because of this SMS. Until the issue is solved and she speaks to them, so, that’s where we are now,” he said.

Zodwa joins Kenny Kunene’s political party
The pair have become close friends. Zodwa recently announced she was joining the businessman’s political party, Patriotic Alliance (PA).
Kenny has welcomed her with open arms.
“I am pleased to welcome Rebecca Zodwa Libram popularly known as Zodwa Wabantu @zodwalibram to @patrioticalliance.
“I believe in Zodwa, as a leader in her own right and her helping the poor qualifies her to be involved in the politics of PA which is to genuinely change the lives of our people . Welcome my sister to your political family,” he wrote on Instagram.
Zodwa said she was pleased to be joining the party.
Zodwa secures the bag
2021 is shaping up to be a good year for the star. Her finances took a knock in 2020 due the coronavirus pandemic.
But Zodwa found other ways to make an income, including selling eggs and live chickens.
Her chicken business is still going strong. Stars like Kelly Khumalo have been spotted buying her livestock.
Nothing can stop Zodwa from securing the bag!
