Duduzane Zuma took a nostalgic trip down memory lane recently when he visited his place of birth in Maputo, Mozambique.
The businessman and son of former President Jacob Zuma, was born in Maputo on 20 May 1982, and gave people a brief look at his humble upbringing.
In a video clip shared by his business associate, Duduzane shows the hospital he was born at, as well as the apartment block he was raised in.
“This is where I grew up, 500 Julius Herrera Road, Maputo. I used to play on these streets, I used to walk these streets, I ran these streets.”
Duduzane previously shared on Kaya Drive that he didn’t spend much time in South Africa as a child. He spent most of his childhood and young adolescent life in Mozambique and showed the public school he attended.
The Presidential hopeful has been actively building his political profile with strategic initiatives and there were many positive responses to the video.
For many who are following the younger Zuma’s journey into the political realm, it was enlightening to see his humble start in life.
Duduzane and his twin sister, Duduzile are two of Jacob Zuma’s more prominent children.
