Travis Scott has reportedly settled a lawsuit related to the tragedy at 2021’s Astroworld Festival, in which 10 people were killed in Houston, Texas.
10 people died as a result of a large crowd crush at Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld event, turning it into a nightmare.
On November 5, 2021, Travis, who was performing in his hometown, encouraged the crowd to go wild while still performing.
The hospital determined that all ten deaths were not due to unintentional “compressive asphyxiation,” with one of the ten victims suffering from an alcohol and drug overdose.

Over 300 people received injury treatment, and about 25 of them were hospitalized.
Since that time, Scott has been identified as a defendant in numerous lawsuits filed by the families of the victims.
A “confidential” settlement has been struck between Tony Buzbee’s clients and the parties involved in their lawsuit, according to a public announcement he posted on Instagram on behalf of Axel Acosta’s family.
Tony Buzbee wrote:
“Travis Scott, Live Nation, and others involved in the Astroworld tragedy have settled.”
