Joining 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka is actor and singer/songwriter Sandile Cedric Mfusi popularly known as Masandi.
Born and raised in Durban, the star is popular for playing Kwanda.
Speaking to 959 Breakfast about his love for acting, Masandi says he has been crafting his skill for years and he’s now reaping the benefits.
“I feel like in recent years my acting has become stronger hence opportunities are opening up.”
Masandi started singing at the age of seven in church. “I’ve been doing music for the longest time so that’s the talent I realised first.”
Sete hitmaker K.O gave him an opportunity to share his talent with the world when Cashtime was still popping.
He encourages up-and-coming musicians to make use of every opportunity they get.
“The industry is a space that needs one to know themselves and know they are trying to achieve.”
