How we celebrated this weekend, united in our diversity, showed the power of the collective.
There were just so many beautiful celebrations across South Africa.

Sparking the conversation on The Best T in the City around successes you couldn’t have achieved without the help of others.
A listener shares that because of stokvel money, she was able to buy a tombstone for her dad.
“It has always been a dream of mine and this year, with stokvel money I was able to buy my father a tombstone who’s been late for 23 years.”
Another listener wants to get her business kick started but knows she can’t do it on her own.
“I want to have a company that manufactures cleaning products but I can’t do it on my own but with my partner, I will do it.
“This man is behind the kasi economic development. They recently got funding to fund small businesses.”

My late husband was my cheerleader he believed so much in me that sometimes I would be shocked at things I have achieved because of him pushing me to go that extra mile for that I will forever be grateful may his soul continue to rest in peace #AloneICant
