South African superstar thespian Thuso Mbedu has made history by becoming the first-ever South African actor to appear on the US show “The View”.
Mbedu’s star keeps shining bright and the country is loving every minute of it.
She made an appearance on The View alongside her co-stars to promote their upcoming film The Woman King.
The Underground Railroad, an American television program, gave Mbedu her first significant acting job.
However, The Woman King, which was filmed in South Africa, marks her big-screen debut.

“The Woman King,” which takes place in the 18th and 19th centuries, is based on actual events that took place in The Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful countries in Africa.
Davis plays a general in the movie named Nanisca who prepares the next wave of troops to take on their foes.
Local celebrities Zozibini Tunzi, Siv Ngesi, Masali Baduza, Seputla Sebogodi, Thando Dlomo, and Makgotso Monyemorathoe are among the star-studded cast.
