The most significant and lasting relationship you will ever have is with yourself. Making the time and effort to have a more loving relationship with oneself is worthwhile.
You are the only person you will ever have in your life. Therefore, it’s crucial that you enjoy being alone, have confidence in yourself, and are aware of your strengths.
Building your self-esteem and breaking codependent behaviours allows you to develop stronger, happier relationships—both with yourself and with others—than focusing on attempting to win others’ love.

LISTEN TO THE FULL CONVERSATION HERE:
“When you oftentimes think of a relationship with others, you think of how you spend time with that person, you prioritise their well-being, you make plans with that person. It is the same thing when it comes to cultivating a relationship with yourself.

“It is checking in with yourself, spending time with yourself, working on the thing you want to work on, whether it is self-love, whether it is kindness to yourself, whether it is celebrating yourself, whether it is walking this journey of life and no really leaving yourself behind.”
