The two short films were also written by Abudu, known as the founder of EbonyLife Studios, behind the recent popular Netflix series ‘Blood Sisters’, ‘Chief Daddy 2, and ‘Castle and Castle’.
Thusi took to Twitter to express how excited she is to be part of the project.
She wrote “I’ve always wanted to shoot a movie in Nigeria. So glad it’s finally happening… thank you for this @MoAbudu 🤍 I’ve always believed in pan-African unity, we see it every day in music and it should be seen more in film and I’m so excited to have added to this part of my journey.”
