North West province has elected Nono Maloyi as the new chairperson of the party.
At the party’s ninth provincial conference, which is taking place at the Rustenburg Civic Centre, the IEC declared the results of his win on Monday at 4 a.m.
This conference will conclude its election on Monday after three postponements and a court order.

Lazzy Mokgosi has been elected deputy chair, Louis Diremelo was elected provincial secretary and Viola Motsumi is deputy provincial secretary. Sello Monotho Lehari was elected provincial treasurer.

Maloyi has said that should a need arise, he will step aside if asked to.
This is in reference to a fatal car accident that occurred in 2018 where he was charged with culpable homicide.
Those charges were provisionally withdrawn pending an application to have the matter struck off the role.
