Remember the strong-willed Nompilo Dlamini, who touched many hearts with a moving plea to raise R2 million for her lung transplant?
Nompilo was 26 when she made that plea, which caught the attention of Cassper Nyovest who donated R150k and invited others to donate.
Today, Nompilo has another reason to celebrate as she turns 28 years old.
“Happy birthday to me,I can now safely say I’m in my late 20s,it has been God through out even on days I felt like I couldn’t he made me see another day. I’m celebrating the drs that have helped me through out the years too, they fought so many times to make me see this day,” posted Nompilo.
Hours before her birthday Nompilo could not contain her excitement as she reflected on how far she’s come.
“8 years of grace and hope for a healthy life and winning against all scientific odds, it’s been a journey and a half, gets me emotional to think of all life brought me and still keeps me to see a day.”
