Zakes Bantwini has announced the opening of Studio in Cape Town, a new company Longue venue at The Rockefeller.
The music producer gave his friends a sneak peek at the new location and explained where he got the concept for it more than five months prior.
The lounge was created with the aid of a friend and business partner.
Zakes Bantwini took to social media to share a video of the preview party which was attended by the likes of Thepelo Mokoena, Bathu CEO Theo Baloyi, Lekau Sehoana, Akani Simbine, Naak Musiq as well as AKA.

Eight months ago, my partner @sibo_the_zulu & myself where on a boat in Cape Town, unbeknownst to us, we would meet our soon to be business partner & brother @ryanjof
We clicked immediately spoke investment opportunities in Cape Town and soon got underway with plans on a roof top concept lounge @therockefellerct and just like that @studiocapetown was born. And of-course the only person who could bring this to life was the one and only @tristanduplessis_studio Brother your work and energy is unmatched, thank you for everything much love to you bro🙏🏽.
We hosted a small preview experience this weekend for media and our close friends. We will be open officially in Spring. Can’t wait for you guys to experience #STUDIOCPT, wrote Bantiwini.
