Somizi Mhlongo has teased his second cookbook will be released in December. The foodie who shares his passion for food and cooking on his Instagram, was responding to a question by one of his followers.
Coming hot on the heels of his first cookbook, Dinner At Somizi’s – I Am Not A Chef, the media personality and Idols SA judge, shared that a second cookbook is currently a work in progress.

The second installment in Somgaga’s culinary escapades will come 2 years after his first book’s debut.
With resounding success, Somizi’s first cookbook was the number 1 selling cookbook in CNA between November 2020 and January 2021.
Featuring a number of hearty South African dishes with a bit of Somizi flair, fans can expect a few experimental dishes in the new book.
Somizi shared a video of him preparing tuna steak, with chilli prawns and a coleslaw salad on Tuesday which had his follower’s salivating.
Using a touch of beer in the prawns to bring out the chilli and garlic flavours, all the ingredients were then assembled on a bun in what he calls his version of a Kota.
Unphased by the latest remarks made by his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung, Somizi is all about keeping his focus on his career which nearly derailed last year.
