South Africans are growing frustrated with Eskom’s never-ending power outages.
This is after the power utility warned that there’s a “very real risk” that Stage 6 loadshedding will need to be implemented from 17h00 on Tuesday, 28 June.
In a media briefing that was held, CEO, Andre De Ruyter blamed the unlawful industrial action at various Eskom power stations, further breakages, and a high evening peak for the decision.
Award-winning South African rapper Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA has taken it upon themselves to reach out to engineer and multi-billionaire Elon Musk to help with Mzansi’s power problems.
Elon is one of the most innovative people in the world and was born here in South Africa before relocating overseas.
“Please @elonmusk I know you have a solution for load shedding … do it for your country… your original one,” tweeted the rapper.
