39 human trafficking victims have been rescued by police on a farm in Belfast, Mpumalanga.
After 39 individuals, including women and children, were rescued from a farm in Belfast, Mpumalanga, on Friday, two suspects who are currently in police custody are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
The defendants, both 32, will face charges of human trafficking.

The 39 victims, which included seven women, nine kids under five, and 23 men over the age of 18, are said to have been smuggled into the nation illegally from Mozambique.
The trafficker and the farm owner’s son allegedly met and exchanged money with the driver of a taxi carrying a group of people. After that, the victims would be made to begin working on the farm.
According to the Springs Advertiser members of Nelspruit Serious Organized Crime, the flying squad, and the Department of Labour and Home Affairs carried out the operation.
More arrests are reportedly anticipated, according to the Hawks, whose investigation is ongoing.
