Award-winning South African singer/songwriter Zahara has issued an apology to her fans and promoters after she had to cancel all her bookings from the weekend. She says “her health has taken a toll and her doctor advises her to be on bed rest.”
The musician adds,” I look forward to getting out there as soon as I am physically fit.” Her fans took to her comment section to wish her a speedy recovery.
Last month, Zahara revealed that her R1,9 million home in Roodepoort is facing a bank auction after she failed to make the monthly R17 665,40 repayments.
The singer has blamed the Covid-19 pandemic for her financial difficulties.
I’d like to apologize to my fans and promoters to share that I am unable to carry through my performances this weekend. My health has taken a toll on me and I have been advised to be on bed rest.
