Community Policing Forum (CPF) assisted a woman to deliver her baby on a Centurion sidewalk, on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman, whose identity is unknown collapsed on the side of a road and a concerned community member called the CPF.
Responding quickly to the call, CPF member Sonet Klopper arrived on scene and noticed the woman was experiencing contractions and was in labour.
With years of experience with delivery, Klopper remained calm and proceeded to examine the mom-to-be.
There wasn’t any time to get the woman to a hospital and Klopper was assisted by a private security company as well as community paramedic service, CERT-SA.
