Ntsiki Mazwai has made yet another controversial statement on social media, that has left many touched.
The opinionated and outspoken poet had a few things to say about multi-award winning American singer Beyonce Knowles.
On Monday, she took to Twitter following Beyonce’s opening performance at this year’s Academy Awards to share an ‘unpopular opinion’ that she has never thought that she was pretty and that it was just her light skin privilege.

The statement has sent shockwaves on social media, especially from the Beyhive – Beyonce’s fan base who took to social media to condemn Mazwai’s utterances.
Mazwai went on further to explain her statement and added that the make up and weaves that Beyonce wears does not match her standard of beauty.

Mazwai is no stranger to controversy, over the weekend she reacts to Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton with an African flair’ themed soiree, saying South African celebrities were embarrassing themselves.
She became triggered when one social media user accused her of being jealous because she wasn’t invited.
In a series of tweets, she explained how ‘imitating white people is not black excellence.’
