Over the long weekend, many South African got a glimpse of the much-anticipated Young, Famous and African reality series show.
The show is said to be the first African Reality show of its kind on Netflix and has proved to be special with viewers since its release on the 18th of March.
The entertaining reality show which has been trending since it premiered features a group of affluent African A-listers from South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The show is getting raving reviews and not all of them are pleasant.

One such review was from a US TikToker Champ Bailie, who left many rolling on the floor on social when she gave her view of what she saw in the first episode of the series.
Bailie said the wigs worn by some of the cast members are by far the worst wigs she has ever seen.
“I don’t care about the backlash, but what is up with these wigs? These are the worst wigs I’ve ever seen in my life. I am only in the first 12 minutes of the first episode. But I am horrified, I am traumatised. I am ain’t never gon put a wig on ever again.”
“Love and Hip Hop ain’t got nothing on this show, cause Love and Hip Hop is pretty bad with their hair. But this takes the cake.” she said on her page.

There was also a few Tweeps who weren’t impressed with Khanyi Mbau’s choice of wigs on social media.
