Just when you thought they’d left life behind the camera behind them, the Kardashians are back with a new reality show.
After 20 seasons of Keeping up with the Kardashians (KUWTK), Kris Jenner and her famous daughters return to screens.
The new reality show is said to launch on 14 April on the streaming platform, Hulu.
Keeping up with the Kardashians ended in September 2020, due to many internal disagreements amongst the sisters.
Kourtney wanted out of the family reality show which ran for 14-years, stressing that she wanted to prioritize her role as a mother over life in the limelight.
Kim and Khloe were keen to continue on without Kourtney. But with “momager” Kris at the helm, going ahead without one of their own didn’t work for the brand she’d worked so hard to build.
What’s in store?
The new reality show will see Kourtney returning with her financé Travis Scott. So much has happened since the finale of KUWTH and the teaser trailer gives fans a sneak peak into what can be expected.
Kim’s divorce from Kanye takes centre stage in the pilot season, and the show will detail the beginning of her relationship with Pete Davidson.
“This is a relationship that I don’t think anyone saw coming,” Kris Jenner quipped in the trailer, echoing what most people were thinking.
However, Kim looks happier than she has looked in years with her newfound sense of humour shining through. Davidson is a US comedian who features on the comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live.
Kourtney shares that she wants more kids with Travis, and the couple are trying In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).
Khloe deals with Tristan’s infidelity whilst maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship.
Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the lot, is pregnant with baby number 2. Unlike her first pregnancy which she kept under wraps, the cosmetic businesswoman, is a lot more open with her pregnancy this time.
Kendall Jenner, the only sister who doesn’t seem to have any immediate plans to have kids focuses on her modelling career.
All in all, the Kardashians are back, but without the inclusion of Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, who was Kris’ ex-husband.
