Minister Angie Motshekga announces the launch of a comprehensive sexuality education drama series.
The launch is currently underway at the Hitekani Primary School in Soweto.
The department of basic education and the education development centre adapted the scripted lessons of Life Orientation and Life Skills as a radio drama series.
The purpose of the series is to supplement what learners are taught at school in the comfort of their homes.
‘Life on Madlala Street’ is an 11-part series developed to educate learners on the values of gender equality and the prevention of gender-based violence and learner pregnancy.
