Popular US podcaster Joe Budden is the latest megastar to weigh in on MacG and Ari Lennox’ interview where MacG asked her who is “F..k…ng her good right now,” and this left a sour taste in the singer’s mouth. So much so that she said she never wants to visit South Africa.
Joe Budden, who made it clear that he was not siding with anyone, says that Ari’s music has been sexually explicit and she should never rule out the possibility of it being discussed in interviews.
“I’m not saying that the South African podcaster was right or wrong, because it’s not my place to say but Ari Lennox’ last nine verses have been sexually explicit. If you’re sitting with a shock-jock (I’m not saying that he is right or wrong) you have to know that everything that you have ever said in a song is on record to be discussed.”
Joe, like Charlamagne from The Breakfast Club, believes MacG could have asked the question in a classier way.
“Now, could he have done that a classier and tasteful way? Off course. But for Ari Lennox afterward to act like where did he even find the nerve, courage, and gall to ask me such an explicit question – fam I’ve listened to all your guest verses and I love them. Part of why I love them is because you are talking that talk,” said Joe.
MacG is the MOST googled podcaster in the world right now 😂
