Speaking at the press briefing, he spoke about how excited he was with the changing political landscape and the role he will play in his new political home ActionSA.
“I believe this is the actual realignment of our politics in the country where South Africans of all capabilities, of all diversity, need to join hands and work together because we’ve got one enemy and that enemy is the African National Congress,” Baloyi said.
Baloyi left the DA in December 2021 after being with them for 14 years.
My journey with the @Our_DA ends today. It has been an amazing 14 years which I will always be proud of and I will remain great full to the DA for their support and opportunities afforded to me. I leave out of my OWN agency. Not because I am being purge or any nonsense

His time with the DA had many firsts in the country.
When he was elected as the party’s executive mayor of the Midvaal municipality in 2013, he was 26 years old, making him the youngest mayor in the country at the time .
