Cassper is arguably the most successful South African artist over the last twelve months, so when he shares advice for the new year, it only makes sense that we listen.
He advises upcoming artists to stop asking for record deals at clubs, rather they pass a memory stick with their music around.
He adds that presentation will never work while loud music is playing in the background.
“Advice for 2022, The club is not a place to come ask for a record deal. The most you can do is pass a memory stick and bounce. If you’re any good, your music will speak. The presentation isn’t not gonna work 4 you while Adiwele is playing so loud! I also want to do the dance bro!” The Tweet read.

Cassper owns Family Tree, a record label that has helped launch the careers of Nadia Nakai, Gemini Major, and Tshego. The trio might have long left the stable for growth but Cassper was instrumental in the success of their careers.
The rapper recently showed off his newly built Family Tree studios which took years to build. He says it cost him around 500k to get them ready. Initially, he had paid someone R120k for soundproofing that didn’t work.
He had to break everything down again and get someone else to do it. That was another 200k on soundproofing.
Dawg. The saddest part of my life. Paid dude 120k for Sound proofing that didn't work. Had 2 break the shit down again & get another guy 2 start from scratch from a floating floor to a room in a room. Another 275k just on Sound proofing. I still need to do the accoustics. Stress! https://t.co/nyNdlC1FrF

Cassper’s 2021 wins
2021 was a year Cassper enjoyed great success. He launched his first sneaker through a partnership with Drip Footwear (the deal reportedly cost R100 million).
Billiato, his first alcoholic drink, launched in December and sold out just a few days after hitting the shelves. He promises his fans that more stock will be available in the new year.
He ended off the year by challenging the internet’s biggest troll Slik Talk to a boxing match and we all know how that went. It’s safe to say that Mufasa owned 2021.
