Yesterday we spoke about President Cyril Ramaphosa testing positive for COVID-19 – this was a big story all over SA.
UDM leader Bantu Holomisa questioned the president testing positive after getting the vaccine and warned everyone to be worried.
“President Ramaphosa tests positive for Covid-19— Haikhona not after vaccination? Seemingly these companies are making money with their non-effective vaccines. Be worried out there. Speedy recovery Mr. President,” his tweet read.
Skhumba says that he’s come across family members who believe that you do not have to wear a mask after getting vaccinated.
“My uncle always said to us when growing up that the bible says that the world will come to an end. He was against vaccines on a religious level, but when he realized why it’s important, he encouraged the whole family to go for it,” said Thomas.
In today’s Morning show, Thomas and Skhumba ask: “Do your friends/family members understand the purpose of getting vaccinated? Are there people around you who still think getting vaccinated means you can’t catch or spread COVID-19?”

A listener from Donsobville shares, “My take is that I won’t vaccinate; I don’t trust Covid. Strangely, Covid keeps getting stronger; we don’t even know when it will end. Something is not right with Covid.”
Another listener shares that her brother was anti-vaccination, and he has now contracted the virus.
A lady believes that Covid is a ploy to kill black people. “I’ll never go and vaccinate unless they force me. There’s this video of someone who held a private meeting where they discussed the depopulation of black people,” she said.
