DJ Zinhle is reportedly taking legal action after discovering that one of her employees stole R500, 000 from her bank account.
According to the Sunday World, the staff member stole the money between July 2020 and July 2021.
Zinhle hinted about the drama in her new reality show, ‘The Unexpected’. One of the ‘Umlilo’ hitmaker’s employees told her that she had something important to discuss.
The woman talked about several suspicious transactions that were not approved by Zinhle’s team.
“While we are losing money, there’s theft within the company. One of us is taking money and I just decided that today, I’m going to go tell Zinhle about what I’ve picked up so far… She treats everyone like a family member, so I don’t think she expects anything like this from any one of us,” the woman said.
The transactions mentioned in the clip (see below) were for amounts ranging from R1, 000 – R4, 000.

It’s unclear if the suspicious transactions mentioned on the show are linked to the case Zinhle opened.
According to the Sunday World, the employee mentioned in the court case had access to Zinhle’s username and password for her bank account.
A case of fraud and theft has been opened at the Protea Glen police station.
