South African rapper AKA just added a new tattoo to his collection. The ‘Fela in Versace’ hitmaker tattooed Michael Jackson’s face on his arm.
This is AKA’s second tattoo dedicated to the ‘King of Pop’. He also has a tattoo of MJ on the opposite arm. The ink shows Michael Jackson as a child.
“The Original MJ … & my favourite MJ. Thank You @royalink_sa for blessing myself and @steffan.forbes with some new ink for the summer … go check them out, awesome dudes and talented professionals,” AKA captioned a picture of his new tattoo.
He also shared pictures of his new ink on Twitter.

AKA’s fans joked that he “got a tattoo of black MK and white MJ”. One of AKA’s fans famously got the rapper’s face tattooed on his arm in 2019.

The 33-year-old has several other tattoos on his body, including Manchester United’s badge and a lion. He also has his daughter Kairo’s name tattooed on his arm.

AKA in better spirits
AKA unveiled his tattoos a few days after opening up about his clinical depression diagnosis. He says he was diagnosed many months ago.
The ‘Tears Run Dry‘ rapper revealed that he was on antidepressants, but had to stop taking them.
“I couldn’t handle them. They made me feel like I couldn’t feel anything, so I got off them. Plus my whole job is to feel,” he said.
Several other musicians have also spoken out about their battle with depression this year.
Simphiwe Dana told her Twitter followers in April that she suffers from anxiety. Like AKA, she also chose not to take medication.
“I am Simphiwe Dana and I suffer from depression and anxiety, I don’t take meds for the depression as I fear it will affect my creativity. I do take stressam for the anxiety, she tweeted.
