Kalawa Jazmee record label has reportedly announced that they will be premiering their first reality show, which will be coming to your screen soon.
The long-standing independent record label based is reputable as a major contributor to the development of the Kwaito genre of music in South Africa.
Kalawa Jazmee Records has been a pioneering independent record label in South Africa for over 25 years of its existence.

Label manager Vinolia Ganess spoke to Daily Sun and told them that the 13-episode show would allow South Africans to see what went on behind the scenes.
“Kalawa has been known to grow the freshest talent in the industry, and turn it into superstars. Idols season 16 was the first year we signed with the competition as the record label partner. We know that South Africans would like to see what goes on with the contestants we’ve signed.”
The story of Kalawa JazMee records is nothing but an inspiration to young artist and businessmen. Kwaito veterans Mjokes, Spikiri and Mahoota had been working for a record company called Super Promotions when they decided to start their own record company called JazMee.

They later met DJ Christos, Oskido, Don Laka and Bruce Sebitlo who had a record company called Kalawa and they decided to form Kalawa JazMee.

Vinolia also shared that people would see why they called the label the University of Kalawa.
“You will get to see how these youngsters are introduced to the music industry, and how we shape them into superstars. It will feature Mr Music, Brandon Dhludhlu, Zama Khumalo, ZanoThando and Ndoni,” she added.
