It is no secret that Cassper Nyovest and Prince Kaybee are not the best of friends.
The two have often taken their disputes to social media, but this time around, Kaybee has come to the defence of his fellow musician.
The ‘Banomoya’ hitmaker defended Nyovest after many Twitter users criticised his new sneakers.
Nyovest has been trending on Twitter since Thursday morning, with many users claiming that his sneakers are poor quality.
One user accused Nyovest of taking a well established brand and selling it as his own.
Cassper is killing that Drip brand. He hijacked a well established brand and made it about him, while his sneaker quality is an insult to the consumer. We must stop sugar courting, black business must sell quality and not blackmail us with "black owned" term pic.twitter.com/ty06cgqsE5

This led to Kaybee stepping in to defend the star.
He said starting a shoe from scratch is costly and it is so much easier to work with an existing design.
“Just want to defend Sasko Sam here for once, starting and designing your own shoe is from scratch is Expensive, he doesn’t have the money to do that so best bet is get a chinese existing design, put a tree and sell to Dome FillUps, commercial Buisness principal,” wrote Prince Kaybee.

Last month, Kaybee accused Nyovest of being out of touch after Nyovest gifted his celebrity friends with his new sneakers.

Kaybee said the star should have donated to his fans instead.
“Another thing about celebrities is the disconnect to the fans, they can’t seem to put back value where they got it from. For instance you give away samples to celebrity friends and never to the people that bring the value, so now it creates a talking point but never an impact,” he wrote.

Nyovest was not impressed with the Tweet.
See his response below.
