@KayaOnAir I got back yesterday. It’s been quite hard to adjust, I just attended meetings but I was lost half the time. 🤞🏿 Today I’m trying out a new work routine, maybe it will work better.💪🏿 #ThomasAndSkhumba

3 ways to be ready for work after you take leave
There are definitely some ways you can ease back in to the normal routine of work and life while still retaining the benefits you get from being away from it all long enough to recharge your batteries.
Proper preparation is key to making sure it’s easy to get back into the mix when you get back from your vacation without wishing you never left in the first place.
Give a handover
Make sure you give your work away. Work with your manager and your team to make sure that your regular responsibilities are covered while you’re away.
Out-of-office notification
This is very important to put in place and to also direct any request people may have to the relevant person in you department. Don’t give anyone the opportunity to say “Oh, I didn’t know you’d be gone!”
Clear your emails
Just before you go back to the office spend time going through your emails, make sure you make notes on urgent matters, those that need a follow up and be a champion on your first day back to work.
