Losing a spouse is one of the most painful experiences. Celebrities Ayanda Ncwane and Simphiwe Ngema understand the pain very well.
Ayanda lost her husband, Sfiso Ncwane, who was an award-winning musician, in 2016. She has often shared the tremendous pain she has felt as a result of the death.
Simphiwe Ngema lost her musician husband, Dumi Masilela, in 2017 after he was gunned down during an attempted hijacking.
Both ladies have taken to Instagram to share words of comfort to Connie Ferguson, whose husband, Shona Ferguson, died last week due to COVID-19 complications.

Connie shared that since Shaun’s passing, she has been struggling.
“Ours is a once in a lifetime kind of love. You and I were joined at the hip, now I feel completely off-balance, incomplete, without my other half! My SOULMATE!” she wrote on Instagram.
“I’m struggling to process everything that’s going on! It all just feels like a horrible nightmare that I can’t wake up from!,” she wrote.
Ayanda Ncwane
Ayanda wrote a heartfelt message of condolence to Connie.
“Dear @connie_ferguson nobody and nothing is going to be said to you today that will make sense. The numbness, the death of your inner self, your world coming to a stand still, your heart tearing up into pieces. Begging him to come back to life,” she wrote on Instagram.
The wife of the late Sfiso Ncwane says she wishes she could comfort Connie with a hug.
“Ohhh Sisi the only thing I wanna do is to squeeze you sooo tight and let you screeeeeam so loud!!!! Ayanda Ncwane wrote on Instagram.
Simphiwe Ngema
Simphiwe advised Connie to focus on the love that she shared with her late husband.
She says it is the beautiful memories that will keep Connie going.
“It’s that moment that you realise, nothing else matters. Only love, family and the legacy you Leave behind matters. You did it! Uncle Sho. All of it and you did it well. Take a bow king. @connie_ferguson try and remember the love and not the loss, it’s the beautiful memories that will keep you going. Things will never be the same again, you will never be the same again but you will get stronger.❤️ #ripshonaferguson,” she wrote on Instagram.
