Zipho Sikhakhane recently hosted our weekly three-hour show #InfluentialFridays exploring authenticity. Many know her as a sought-after global speaker, entrepreneur and business strategist who navigates the world as a mover, disrupter and a new age business.
She spoke to Faith Khanyile, CEO of Women’s Development Bank WDB Investment Holdings, who has been with the organisation since its inception and now runs it’s R3 billion fund, admittedly with an iron fist. She shared some highlights of the fund’s 27-year history.
The conversation about authenticity was explored with Afropolitans identifying the ingredients required to live a more authentic life.
She also spoke to Maanda Tshifularo, the General manager: Operations at 1Life Insurance, about qualities of truly authentic people, as well as what makes authenticity such a desirable quality in today’s world not just corporations.
Emerging from humble beginnings of growing up in a poor community in South Africa, Zipho was driven to start her first business at the tender age of five and has led numerous business ventures ever since.
Having worked in six continents and travelled to 30 countries, her global outlook gives her a unique perspective on local opportunities and challenges. As a speaker, she speaks and facilitates on the topics of leadership, change, management and entrepreneurship.
