Johannesburg Water reminds residents of the 20% water restrictions.
Resident are asked to use water sparingly.
The City is under Level-1 water restrictions as per the Water Services By-Laws, section 44 (3).
The bulk water supplier, Rand Water, placed a 20% water restriction to municipalities in Gauteng on Friday, 27 August, because the water demand exceeds the supply.
The restrictions are in place to recover the network system.
