Zakes Bantwini has taken to his social media to release the playlist for ‘Kunye’. This is coming after the star shared a snippet off his song titled, ‘Osama’ which he played at a recent live streamed Kunye series event with Thandi Draai & Darque.
He was the latest artist to be featured on the Kunye series which was started by Shimza with the aim of Providing a platform that connects both South Africa’s established and unsung stars to international artists, peers and audiences alike.
The Kunye series also aims to shine a light on the country’s colourful soundscape in order to cement their place on the world stage. A movement for Afro House, Afro Tech, Electronic music and beautiful music lovers.

The singer shared the news through his social media and many of his fans are so excited.

Taking to Twitter recently to address the presidency, Bantwini said that with the way things have gone in the entertainment industry since the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown, he believes that there was no leadership throughout and wants to be the change he sees for the future of the entertainment industry.
“I want to be minister of art and culture. This pandemic has been extremely challenging for our industry and it’s clear we have NO leadership that cares for creative economy of this nation.
“As creatives we deserve better and I want to change that for next generation,” he wrote.
