Singer Mpho Sebina recently joined Tbose on Platinum Fridays. On the show she went back to her roots with an electric retelling of a childhood Setswana folktale.

Born, bred in Botswana, Mpho Sebina grew up in a family of music lovers. She says she grew up listening to mainane ( Setswana folktales) and fell in love with the sounds of Stampore, Sade, UB40, Boom Shaka , Brenda Fassie and Mariah Carey.
In August of 2019, she was selected for a music scholarship program in Berlin via the Goethe Institut of German and Pop Kultur Festival.
She was 1 of 10 candidates chosen from around the globe and gained “Goethe Talents Alumni” status.
