Tensions are mounting at Witbank Technical High School in Mpumalanga as parents and students raise growing concerns over racism at the school.
Earlier this morning a video surfaced of a white parent shoving a black student, with many claiming this is an ongoing issue at the school.

Newzroom Afrika was at the school and interviewed students who had been subjected to racist retorts and unfair treatment.

Reports from The South African suggest that the matter has escalated and turned into a violent mess, between parents and students of Witbank Technical High School, with incidents of physical assault being captured on video.

According to the reports the matter has escalated this morning after the school and the Department of Education failed to address parents and student’s concerns over racial tensions at the school last week.
