Kickstart the weekend by listening to Adele’s latest single, ‘Easy On Me’.
The piano ballad came out on Friday, 15 October.
Adele also dropped the music video for the song.
Within ten hours of the video being uploaded on YouTube, it has already been viewed over 18-million times.
The video was directed by none other than Xavier Dolan, the genius behind the video for hit single, ‘Hello’.
The video starts off with black-and-white visuals of Adele leaving her home, taking one last wistful look out the window, and then hitting the road.
This could be symbolic of her 2019 divorce from Simon Konecki.

In the song, Adele hints that it was because she was still young.
“I had good intentions and the highest hopes but I know right now it probably doesn’t even show,” sings Adele.
“Go easy on me, baby. I was still a child. Didn’t get the chance to feel the world around me,” she sings.
The music video has been trending in the top ten videos on YouTube, and #Adele has been trending as #1 on Twitter.
‘Easy On Me’ is taken from Adele’s upcoming album, ’30’, which is set to be released on November 19.
Adele started working on the album three years ago at a time when her life was “a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil”, she revealed on Twitter.
