South African radio and television personality Hulisani Ravele has laughed off the “fake” news of her traditional wedding that reportedly took place this past weekend.
The former YOTV presenter said she was shocked to see news of her “secret” nuptials online after it was brought to her attention by family and friends.
Ravele maintains that she is “not even close to a relationship let alone marriage right now,” but said she has hopes that the day will come when she’s ready.
Speaking to her radio co-host on Friday, 02 June, Ravele said, “My freckles and I laugh off the fake news that I had a traditional wedding this weekend.
When the day eventually comes around, it’s definitely not going to be made a public affair and my partner will first have to go about things the traditional way and write a letter to my family expressing his intention to marry me.
Only then can he go down on one knee and pop the question and win me over because some things just have to be done right.”

The 35-year old shared that she is “single single” and is not chasing love because she believes her husband will find her when the time is right.
Pictures of the media personality were shared across social media this week, showing Ravele clad in traditional makoti attire.
While the bubbly presenter didn’t share details about the pictures, she did say that her followers would know when her big day is.
