Congratulations are in order for South African actress Thuso Mbedu.
She has become the latest South African star to be featured in an international magazine.
Mbedu took to Instagram to announce that she will be in the Vogue magazine’s May issue.
“Things to look forward to: The May 2021 issue of Vogue Magazine celebrating Mr Giorgio Armani,” wrote the star on Twitter.
The 29-year-old shared a photo of the cover. She looked stunning in a navy-blue ball gown.
The news comes after she got a role on American series called ‘The Underground Railroad’, where she plays a character called ‘Cora’.
She also shared the exciting news about her new role on Instagram, citing that history has been made.

The two-time Emmy nominated actress shared a snippet from the series:
