It’s that time of the year again when images and videos of kids crying go viral as parents leave them behind on their first day of school.
It’s a bittersweet day for parents as children step outside of their comfort zones to start their schooling career.
“Is your bundle of joy is going to Grade R or Grade 1 this year? We’d like to hear from you and your child before you go through that traumatic experience later,” asks Thomas on The Morning Show.
A Kaya 959 listener shares, “My child woke up at five, made breakfast, and sat in front of the television. the only thing that’s disappointing us is the transport, it broke down.”
A relieved mother says, “My son is going to grade 4, I could not wait hey. It’s tough at the house, I’ve had enough. I could not drop him off fast enough.”
