So you have scented bath soap and a comb to keep your hair tame and think this is all it takes to keep you well groomed in the eyes of heterosexual women? Think again. Male grooming has become a business all its own with product lines that could rival popular female brands to boot.
When it comes to male grooming, there aren’t necessarily any negatives and it’s all a matter of preference and every woman has her turn-ons and turn-offs.
That said, gentlemen, gone are the days where lavender scented bath soap was enough to turn us on.
Grooming is not “girly” and men who take care of themselves should not be made to feel less macho. While more men are embracing the trend to groom and go for facials and some pampering, many are still sceptical and we would like to dispell the stereotypes. Here’s what she loves about your grooming gents:

EYEBROWS
Do not scuplt them. Unlike your lady friends, symmetrical eyebrows on a man are not necessary. She doesn’t want you picked and pruned but then again a unibrow has never been an “in thing”. So as long as you have two brows, you’re good.

MANSCAPING
Much like your eyebrows, there’s no need to get your nether regions waxed regularly. As long as you keep things neat, short and in check, she’ll be happy. Women do not hate body hair on a man, in fact many find it really appealing, so work with this in mind and keep your trimming to a minimum.
BACK HAIR
Okay, so the point above does not relate to back hair. This needs to go, at ALL costs. There is nothing attractive about that, so get rid of it. Every single one.
CHEST HAIR
Chest hair, on the other hand, is entirely subjective. Some women like a thick carpet of hair to run their fingers through while cuddling, others want things smoother and still some would prefer a little spread out thinly over the pecs and towards the groin area. To be safe ask the lady in your life what she’s into, no it’s not all about her but find some common ground.
NAILS
Simple. Keep them short. Getting them done professionally once off may help with the regular up-keep. Consider a professional manicure at a male grooming salon…yes this is a thing now.

BEARDS
Like men, come in all shapes, sizes and flavours…so too are no two beards the same, not the appeal of one on a man. The latest trend is that beards are in and we find them incredibly hot, provided they’re impeccably groomed. If you have a beard, keep it tidy and brushed at all times, no stray strands allowed. This is non negotiable.
TEETH
If you want to be kissed brush, floss and use a good mouth-wash often. There’s nothing sexy about kissing someone who has bad breath, in fact there’s not going to be much kissing if this is the case.

COLOGNE
Women love men who smell good. Nothing kills the mood more than body odour and sweaty armpits, so invest in the good stuff or take extra care in these problem areas. With cologne less is always more.
Men admit to being somewhat lazy with their grooming techniques and it’s time this stopped. If you are in the “friendzone” or have been missing the mark with the lady in your life, perhaps it’s time to step things up. Showing an interest in self-care is a sign that you are capable of taking care of others as well. So, step out of the marked box and try out a few of our grooming tips to get you started.
