Can we please have a conversation about social etiquette? Why do people think it’s okay to say things to others that they wouldn’t like being said to them? We all have things that we are tired of hearing and Tbose wants to find out what are those things.
Here’s what some of our listeners had to say:
Freinds asking about exes
A Twitter user is tired of friends asking about her past relationship while they can see that she’s in a happy and committed relationship.
People asking when are you having kids
Fertility is an extremely sensitive topic and for whatever reason, some people see it fitting to ask people when are they having kids.
“You must be doing well in life neh?”
Kaya 959 listeners are tired and annoyed by people who make comments such as “o nale chelete neh,” because of the type of car they drive or clothes they wear.
“What do you do for a living?”
A Twitter user is tired of people asking her what she does for a living. She believes it’s nobody’s business – rightfully so.
“When are you buying a car?”
This one is annoying because you don’t know whether someone is in a position to buy a car or if they have other plans for their money. Can we all just learn to mind our business?
“When are you getting married?”
Like really? With divorces at an all-time high, why are we pressurising people to get married? This should be something a couple discusses between themselves.
