Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs Set for a Sold-Out Carling Cup Clash
The highly anticipated Carling Cup quarter-final clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs is set to take place at the FNB Stadium on Saturday at 18:00.
The sold-out game has fans eager to witness the rivalry between these two football giants. Their previous encounter, which saw Sundowns edge out Chiefs 3-2, was a thrilling match that showcased the intense competition between the two teams.
Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Nasreddine Nabi, believes his side is well-prepared for the upcoming match, despite their hectic schedule.
“We understand the demands of the schedule, but the team has shown significant improvement since the start of the season. Our aim is to perform better on Saturday,” he told the media.
Nabi dismissed suggestions that players might be overly anxious to impress him, stating, “It’s natural for players to look to the bench for encouragement. There’s a strong bond between the technical staff and the players, and everyone is committed to their roles.”
