Springbok Lock RG Snyman, also known as The Viking amongst fans and his teammates, is leaving United Rugby Championship side Munster.
Confirming the news with fans, Snyman noted that his time at Munster has been the toughest of his life. However, all is not lost, as he’s learned from and grown from his adversities.
“My time with @munsterrugby has come to an end. It’s been 4 of the toughest years of my life, personally amd professionally, but when I look back at it I see how much I have learnt.
“I see the challenges that myself and @saskiassnyman have overcome and I see a group of people around us that have helped carry us through these times. I have also learnt that STAND UP AND FIGHT isn’t just a hashtag but truly words to live by and a mindset that helped me through many battles. “
Additionally, he expressed gratitude to his friends at Munster as well as the club for all the support.
Synman joined Mubster in 2020. His time at the United Rugby Championship side has been riddled with injuries. It is reported that Snyman will join rivals Leinster.
