Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League for the first time in history when they beat Inter Milan 5-0 in the final at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany on Saturday, 31 May 2025.
The BBC reports that PSG head coach, Luis Enrique (55), is the sixth coach to win the UEFA Champions League with two different clubs, having won with Barcelona in 2015.
“Since day one, I said I wanted to win important trophies, and Paris had never won the Champions League. We did it for the first time. It’s a great feeling to make many people happy,” the Spaniard said.
In a moving moment at the full-time whistle, PSG fans unveiled a heartfelt tribute in the form of a banner paying tribute to Luis Enrique’s late daughter Xana, who passed away from bone cancer at the age of 9 in 2019.
