Youssef En-first-half Nesyri’s goal gave Morocco a suspenseful 1-0 victory over Portugal on Saturday at Al Thumama Stadium, making them the first African country to advance to the World Cup semifinals.

With a determined second-half effort, the Atlas Lions, who was also the first Arab/African team to reach the last four, added Portugal to their list of European victims.
