Alongside Kylan Mbappe, Erling Haaland is one of world football’s most exciting young talents.
Mbappe, 24, and Haaland, 22, have been tipped to reach the heights set by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
World football was excited after Man City announced in May 2022 that they had reached a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign Haaland after activating his €60 million (£51.2 million) release clause.
Already halfway through the current season, it’s safe to say Haaland’s stint at Man City has been successful.
The 22-year-old looks set to become the top goalscorer by a monstrous number of goals, having already banged in 25 goals.
However, since the Norwegian joined the Manchester club, they seem to be more disjointed as a team and have built their play around Haaland.

Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher says Man City is “a different and lesser team with Erling Haaland in the fold.”
