A contigent of smaller parties, which include the African Transformation Movement, the African Content Movement, APC, the Socialist Revolutionary Workers’ Party (SRWP), Black First Land First and the Land Party erupted in song, and held a press conference at the IEC ROC.
Double Voting
Throughout the day there were reports of voters who were able to duplicate votes. The parties all stood united, questioning why results where continuing to trickle in dispite the many incidents throughout the country of voters who voted more than once.

Free and Fair elections
All the parties concurred that the 2019 elections where not free and fair, saying they can’t legitimise an election that is riddled with so many complaints and irregularities.

All these parties have vowed to challenge the credibility of this year’s election. The IEC briefed media and did little to eleviate tensions around the issue. There were calls for an audit of the election results but this is still to be given a valid response.
