Are you equipped to raise one what kind of parent are you?
A listener says raising teens is “an extreme sport” and that using our parent’s approach to parenting won’t work with today’s kids. She adds: “Times have changed & we are failing to adapt #AreWeLazyParents ?No; we aren’t well equipped for the task. The way we were parented is now redundant.”
Gift says raising teens is challenging as your parenting style can either make or break them. “You’re dealing with people who are also faced with dealing with the adolescent stage that can make or break them. As a parent, you continue to do your best and play your role in the midst of it all,” she shares.
