Finding the perfect work-life balance has always been a challenge for many people in the workforce, more especially during the Covid-19 pandemic as most employees have been working from home.
Personal coach, Stephen Woolston shares a few tips on how you can switch off from work mode:
Writing things down on paper
Whatever is in your mind pertaining to work, get it down on paper. When you get out of your system, it won’t linger there as much.
Get something not work-related in your head
This could be a hobby or a book that you are reading. This will help switch your mind from work.
Get into your body
This could be going for an exercise, going for a walk, or even getting on a bike.
Midday Joy with Andy listeners share how they find the perfect work-life balance:
@andymaqondwana @KayaON959 #KayaMiddayJoy the biggest lesson I learnt with regards to balancing work & home life was to prioritise& allocate time to what's important even if it means waking up early to get " me" time. Jogging/ walking every morning before work helps me balance
